Skye Ballet Center graciously gives the experience of 30 years of professional ballet teaching in an organized, nurturing, and enthusiastic setting. Our center connects families to the artists of today’s professional ballet world through our training, Master Class Series, performance exposure and audition opportunities.
Students have been accepted to major Summer Intensives including School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet Chicago, Houston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell, Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet West, Atlanta Ballet Rock School, Ballet Hispanico and Washington Ballet. Students have gone on to Professional Careers with Richmond Ballet, Ballet Chicago , Philadelphia Ballet, Nashville Ballet Louisville Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet. Students have also placed in the prestigious YAGP Competition as First Place in the Senior Division, Third Place Junior Division, First and Second Place Pre Competitive Classical and Contemporary Top 12 for Pre Competitive Classical and Contemporary , Junior and Senior Division, Top 12 for Ensemble and have been invited to the NYC and Tampa Finals. Dancers have also placed First and Third Place in the Top Division at the National Ballet Competition and the Easton International Competition as well as been selected to compete in the prestigious Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition.
We are confident Skye Ballet Center will be a positive reference for the rest of our students’ lives; whether their destiny lies in the world of ballet as professionals, students, teachers, admirers…they will remember fondly the time spent here with us.
